Why "Electric Film"?
Electric Film Works is the Television Production arm of the Juergensen Companies. Through our work in producing underwater television programming for the Discovery Channel, we developed specific equipment to assist us in our diving operations. We have produced over 50 films, many of which dealt with the marine environment. We began by fixing our own rebreathers, then fixing friends rebreathers, then fixing friends of friends' rebreathers, then making new parts and electronics for rebreathers, and then one day we finally decided we ought to get paid for all that work...
As a natural extension of this activity, we established Juergensen Marine to develop amd market innovative products to the diving community. Our equipment, such as Closed Circuit Rebreathers, Electronic Controls, and Oxygen Monitoring gear is now used by literally hundreds of divers throughout the world, and the name Juergensen Marine has become synonymous with quality and customer service throughout the dive industry.
